Customer Challenge

  • Provide independent attendance on behalf of insurers during proposed Deck and Jacket decommissioning operations.
  • Provide a 24/7 offshore service to act as the “eyes and ears” of the Client to ensure all work is executed as per the authorised Project Plans and Procedures.
  • Work closely with the engineering review team and attend offshore on the heavy lift vessel during execution of works, issuing Insurers approvals as necessary during the various stages of the work.

Key Skills Exhibited

  • Offler Marine personnel have ”hands on” knowledge and experience of the complete decommissioning scope from subsea cutting, removal of topsides and the transportation of all types of decommissioned equipment.
  • Drawing on experience as Warranty Surveyor for projects ranging from; subsea bundle tows, pipelaying, heavy lifts, installation of moorings, load outs, FPSO installation and abandonment.

Customer Benefits

  • The project was completed in accordance with the approved Project Plans and there were no insurance claims presented.
